About me

I have a heavy heart for the environment. In my defense, I had it comin’. Raised by a special education teacher and a wildlife biologist, treehugger was in my genetic makeup.

I practice what I preach. And sometimes I catch criricism for my extreme behaviors (i.e. digging through the trash to rescue an aluminum refugee). Kermit the Frog had it right – “It’s not easy being green.” But I’m a proud and outspoken advocate for mother earth and there’s nothing you can do about it.

I’m trying out my green thumb on Web 2.0 for my Public Relations OnlineTactics as a senior at Kent State University and seeing what sprouts. Environmentalism alone doesn’t define me though. Outside the academic scene, I enjoy
Jodi Picoult novels, a solid workout and a smooth cocktail.

I’ve been stalking the blogosphere for about two years now, and I’m finally taking the plunge. I warmly welcome discussion, criticism (constructive, of course) and tips to this blog. I’ll weed out any inappropriate comments if need be.

Here’s to growing greener together.
